About Home Sauna Guide
Home Sauna Guide is an independent guide to buying and running a sauna at home in Ireland, indoors or in the garden. We don't sell saunas. Our job is to show you what they really cost, what they cost to run and what to check before you buy.
How we research
Our guides are written by the Home Sauna Guide Team. Prices come from Irish sellers' own websites, running costs from published heater ratings and the current Irish electricity price, and planning and electrical rules from the regulations and the regulators. Every guide lists its sources and the date it was last updated. Our editorial policy and how we price pages explain the detail.
We are not electricians or planners. For a definite answer about your home, ask a registered electrical contractor or your council.
How we list sellers
- Who we list: businesses that sell home or garden saunas to customers in Ireland.
- What we publish: only facts the seller publishes itself, such as the saunas it sells, its prices and where it delivers. We note where each fact came from.
- Order: alphabetical. We don't rank sellers, and a listing isn't a recommendation.
- Claiming a listing: sellers can claim their page for free to correct details and add contact information.
- Corrections and removal: email hello@homesaunaguide.ie and we'll correct or remove a listing.
Featured listings
Sellers can pay for a Featured spot at the end of our guides and on the where-to-buy page. Featured listings are always labelled "Featured" and shown separately. Paying never changes our prices, our running-cost figures, what a guide says, or where a seller appears in the main list.
