Common questions
Can you get a sauna on finance in Ireland?
Yes. Several Irish sellers, including Homesauna.ie, Loghouse, Timbertrove, offer finance through humm. You can also use a credit union or bank loan, which you arrange yourself.
How does humm finance work?
humm lets you spread purchases of up to €30,000. Amounts of €1,000 or more are repaid over 24 to 72 months. The interest rate varies by retailer from 0% to 14.99% a year, plus an application fee of €10 to €50 and a monthly account fee of €1 to €20.
Is 0% finance really free?
Not always. Even at 0% interest, humm charges an application fee and a monthly account keeping fee, so the APR can be well above zero. Compare the total amount repayable, not the monthly payment.
What is the cheapest way to finance a sauna?
It depends on your circumstances. Compare the APR and total cost of credit from the retailer's finance, your credit union and your bank for the same amount and term. Paying from savings costs nothing in interest.
