Before you buy

• What the price includes. Ask whether the heater, delivery, assembly and installation are included, or extra.
• The heater's power. Get the kW rating in writing. It decides your running costs and whether you need a new circuit. See electrical requirements.
• The base. Outdoor saunas need a solid, level base. Ask who prepares it and to what spec. See base and siting.
• Warranty. Compare what's covered and for how long, separately for the cabin and the heater.
• Delivery access. Check the sauna, or its parts, can get through your side passage or house.
